        Video Components
     
Our video components can convert the electrical format of video and process an image within the video signal. Example electrical format conversions include DVI to RS-343, or RS170 to RGBHV. Example image processing functions including image blending and combining via a variety of keying techniques, image resizing, and image rotation. Our components can process a specific area-of-interest within the image. All processing features are completely user-programmable, enabling our customers to solve demanding video processing challenges. We deliver rack-mount video processors to system integrators, and video adapter circuit boards to specialty display makers.


        Display Quality Assurance Solutions
     



Our display quality assurance systems help our customers quantify display electro-optical performance. Companies world-wide use Westar systems to monitor and improve display performance across all display technologies, from LCD to OLED, and all display sizes, from pico displays to cell displays to the world's largest flat panel TV's. Westar provides a full range of solutions for every stage of the display industry's supply chain, including fully automated, environment-controlled measurement systems used at major manufacturers' module assembly plants, to digital TFT testers used for manual and automated inspection of TFT panels by major computer brands to repair valuable display stock. Westar also maintains an in-house, state-of-the-art measurement laboratory, providing measurement services to the display industry.
